Specialist workshops

(Designed by Lucy for all levels including A Level, BTEC and college courses. Can be delivered to college and school groups or as a series of one to one sessions.)

  • Audition Technique: How to choose the audition pieces that suit your skills and character type; how to deal with nerves; how to be prepared; how to present yourself and how best to appeal to the panel.

  • Working in The Profession: What options are there for new performers joining the business? How to look for work, how to be 'the optimistic performer'

  • Acting Through Song How to tell a story through the song and perform it to an audience.

  • Shaping a Monologue How to work with beats, intentions, actions and performance when delivering a monologue.

  • Choreographic Principles How to develop basic choreographic principles for contemporary dance and physical theatre.
 
 

Lucy delivered the above workshops to A-Level Performing Arts students at Bridgewater College in Somerset as a visiting lecturer:
